Inn at Moonlight Beach – Encinitas, Calif.

You have got to go here…Inn at Moonlight Beach, Encinitas, Calif.

A little secret about me, I have not always been one to find peace in the quiet, but I have really been trying lately to take moments to relax.  I love being on the go, and being busy, however there are some definite advantages to stopping and taking a breath.

Weekends away usually include a lot of activities, so I decided that for one weekend I just wanted to go somewhere new, enjoy my surroundings, and do nothing.

Thankfully I came across the  Inn at Moonlight Beach when researching hotels near San Diego, Calif.

Owned by a wife and husband, this Inn is designed with wellness in mind.  The suites all have kitchenettes, soaking tubs with bath salts, aromatherapy, luxurious linens, and sound machines.

Don’t want to leave your bed for breakfast? No worries…breakfast is delivered to your door each morning.

Not only do the rooms have a ton of amenities that help you relax, the grounds do as well.  There are several areas to meditate, enjoy a meal outside, and a guest lounge stocked with yummy treats, tea, books, and games.

BUT, for those of you who really know me, you won’t be surprised by my favorite part…you can harvest your own fruits and vegetables.  They even leave you your own basket and scissors in your room to harvest.

Another plus about this Inn is that is a short walk to the ocean, and TONS of great restaurants and shops.

So, if you are looking to get a way to relax, or stay somewhere close to the action, the Inn at Moonlight Beach is great for both.

Happy Moonlighting,

Crystal
